About the Team:

The Technical Program Management team at Rubrik oversees planning, management, and execution of major technical programs for the Engineering organization. These programs span the entire portfolio of Rubrik’s cloud data management products. The team ensures high-quality product delivery while juggling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

About the Role:

Rubrik is looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) who thrives in fast-paced, complex environments and possesses strong technical acumen. In this role, you’ll drive product and feature delivery, manage cross-functional teams, and optimize execution processes. The position reports directly to the Director of Technical Program Management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, and execute several major technical programs annually across the product portfolio.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Customer Support, and other functions to prioritize and deliver new features and products.
• Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring effective execution through feature prioritization, planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and metrics reporting.
• Oversee product releases, including release metrics and processes.
• Optimize and create processes to ensure predictable and high-quality execution.
• Define program success metrics and track them through the Product Development Life Cycle.
• Manage multiple priorities with conflicting requirements using logical thinking and business judgment.

Key Technical Skills:

Agile product development, Product Development Life Cycle, Software release cycles, Cross-functional leadership, Program/project management tools, Metrics tracking, Risk management, OKRs, SaaS and On-Premises release management (preferred)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3–8 years of experience in engineering program/project management.
• Proven track record of leading large projects in complex, fast-paced environments.
• Strong knowledge of Agile product development methodologies.
• Thorough understanding of product development and software release cycles, processes, and metrics.
• Experience in feature delivery management and process improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and risk management skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferred: Experience in release management for both SaaS and On-Premises environments.
